Bethlehem Food Co-Op Kickoff meeting tonight!
Tonight is the kick off meeting for the Bethlehem food coop, check it out! It is being set up by Jaime Karpovich (of Save the Kales!, a fantastic vegan blog). The meeting goes from 7-9pm at the Bethlehem Area Public Library (north side branch). For more details check out the Save the Kales! post here.
For those who aren’t familiar with food co-ops, they’re basically a private buying club that lets people buy produce direct from local farmers. It removes a lot of middle men, lets people know their local producers, and often can save people money. Plus, it sticks to two of our principles here: buy local, and buy seasonal. Check it out!
